Shusmita Anis and Arnob team up on a Nazrul’s Song to Spread Awareness of Violence Against Women
Prominent Singer Shusmita Anis brought a new look to Kazi Nazrul Islam’s inspirational song “Jaago Nari Jaago Bonhi Shikha”. This song is musically arranged by popular artist and musician Arnob from Bangladesh.
Arnob said “This is the first time I got a chance to work on Nazruls’s song. I hope listeners will like it.”
The music video for this song has a great dance performance. Renowned actress Ridy Sheikh’s dance has captured various moments of women roaring with their rights.
Shusmita Anis said “Nazrul’s song inspires us to fight against injustice. I tried to bring this famous song ‘Jaago Nari’ in contemporary context specially for the youth to understand the essence of women empowerment.”
‘Jaago Nari’ has been released on Shusmita Anis’s YouTube channel along with all other digital platforms.
