Was Tilottama lynched by the assailant(s)? CBI to nail the question

The shocking details surrounding the tragic case of Tilottama, a 31-year-old doctor allegedly lynched before a misleading rape narrative emerged. Investigations by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) suggest a broader conspiracy, with evidence pointing to multiple assailants and a deliberate cover-up.

Was Tilottama brutally lynched first? Was the rape merely ‘committed’ later to mislead and outwit any future investigation?

Was the actual crime carried out in a room adjacent to the seminar hall of the state-run R G Kar Medical College & Hospital?

Was the lifeless body of the victim then shifted to the seminar hall of the hospital to actually hoodwink the investigators?

A plethora of mind-boggling leads that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have stumbled upon after an extensive 3D mapping and detailed forensic examination of the ‘blurred (?) videography’ of the footage plus other details, increasingly point towards all this.

In fact, top sources in the CBI are believed to have come to this conclusion that rape of the 31-year-old doctor was merely a ruse to ‘attain a broader achievement’ before the rugs were pulled out from under the corruptive activities.

A closer look at the victim’s body and subsequent enlargement of the videography (though deliberately blurred) reveal tell-tale evidence that ‘Tilottama’ was first brutally tortured; her body bore umpteen signs of ghastly wounds, the sources confided.

And to make the worst apprehension come true, the entire lynching operation and the ‘foisted rape’ could never have been committed just by a single person as was being touted by the powers-that-be.

Latching on to a series of clinching clues, the CBI sleuths have definitively concluded that the heinous crime was committed by more than one person. In fact, Sanjay Roy, arrested earlier by Calcutta Police, had vehemently insisted earlier through his counsel at the court that he did not carry out the rape.

The leads available so far effectively establish the fact of a bigger conspiracy to tamper and remove all vestiges of evidence of the crime. The CBI sleuths have painstakingly endeavoured to match the leads with the post-mortem report and other ‘confessions’ of the people under custody.

The sources however, vehemently declined to identify as to who among the arrested or otherwise provided the vital leads that have finally enabled the CBI to get at the bottom of the crime and conspiracy.

“First, the investigation is sub judice and it’s in the interest of the probe that the identity of the person or persons providing the clues, could not be made public,” sources confirmed this to eastindiastory.com.

What has practically stunned the investigators is the elaborate planning that must have been hatched by the perpetrators to execute the crime. The victim’s body had as many as 15 external wounds of ‘grave nature.’

Secondly, the post mortem report revealed nine serious internal wounds. But in sharp contrast to this, the post mortem exercise failed to ‘find and subsequently mention’ any of the injury marks found on the back of the victim’s body.

That explains why there was a tearing hurry in disposing of the victim’s body at the crematorium. A team of central forensic experts analysed the pictures of all the wounds with special apparatus that conclusively prove the involvement of more than one person.

“It was in fact as deadly and brutal as public lynching; the thyroid cartilage, as a result of repeated pounding, was fractured; then assailants tried to throttle her by pressing her throat and nose following which she bled profusely through her nose and eyes,” sources said. “Apparently, her head was repeatedly hit on the floor; the blood oozed out and settled on a piece of cloth on which the body was kept later.”

The post mortem report was suspected to have evaded mentioning all this so that the focus would automatically get shifted towards the rape which, the sleuths apprehend, might have been committed when the victim was either dead or almost dying.

The penetration had to be executed for collection of semen later from her private parts; otherwise, the theory of rape could not be established. The investigators are strongly being believed to be arriving at this conclusion.

The last but not the least is the seminar hall of the hospital which was being touted as the scene of the crime. After such a ‘prolonged operation’, the laptop, mobile of the victim and a page from her diary besides broken spectacles were not left scatteredThey almost remained in their respective places despite contrived displacement efforts! Quite surprising indeed!!!

Tilottama was quite sturdy and she wouldn’t give in so easily to the assailants, two of her close friends confided to the CBI.  Several questions are discreetly circulating in the corridors of power:

— What the Calcutta Police did during the first four days of inquiry? Why the Calcutta Police kept on harping on the theory of rape and proudly proclaimed of arresting the king pin of the rape and murder in less than 24 hours of the crime?

Why was the room next to the Seminal Hall dismantled by the state PWD on the pretext of renovation within the 48 hours after the crime? Why the Calcutta Police allowed the goons to go berserk and resort to large scale vandalisation and destruction of the Emergency building of the hospital?

People are intensely awaiting answers to all this during the CBI’s next submission of the status report to the Supreme Court of India.
