When I woke up this morning, I heard a very sweet sound. It made me feel at peace inside. I could not understand where it was coming from. I wanted to know, so I thought I would ask my mother, but as I turned towards her, I found her sleeping. I decided not to disturb her and find out for myself.
I got out of my bed and started to look for the source of the sweet sound. I looked at the drawing-room, there was nothing, I looked at the other rooms, there was nothing, I then even checked the kitchen, but again there was nothing.
So I returned to the bedroom. I was feeling sad as I could not find where the sound was coming from. I decided to sleep for some more time, but then, as I was just about to climb up on the bed, I saw her right there sitting on the window, looking at me. She was the most beautiful bird I have ever seen, with bright eyes and beautiful feathers.
As I was looking at her she started to sing her sweet song again. I slowly walked towards the window carefully so that she would not fly away. “How can you sing so sweetly?” I asked the bird.
“I come from the land where there is no war, no hate, and no anger.” The bird said, “There is only love and peace.”
I was both happy and surprised, surprised as the land I know is full of hate, anger, and war, but I was happy to know that there is a land where there is peace, I asked the bird again “How can I sing as sweetly as you?”
It smiled and said, “Learn to love all and all your songs will be sweet.”
