New Delhi, 24 April 2025 — The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially confirmed that the admit cards for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate 2025 will be made available for download on or before 1 May 2025. With the nationwide medical entrance examination scheduled for 4 May 2025, the admit card remains an indispensable document for all registered candidates.

Eligible candidates will be able to access and download their admit cards from the official NTA portal — neet.nta.nic.in — by logging in with their application number and password or date of birth. The admit card will carry critical personal and exam-related information, including:

  • Candidate’s name, date of birth, gender, and photograph

  • Application and roll number

  • Signature and parental details

  • Date and time of examination

  • Complete address of the examination centre

  • Selected language of the question paper

  • Exam day guidelines and instructions

Prior to the release of the admit card, the Advance City Intimation Slip will be issued by 26 April 2025, allowing candidates to ascertain the city in which they will be assigned their exam centre. This measure aims to enable timely travel arrangements and reduce last-minute logistical concerns.

This year marks a return to the pre-COVID examination format, with the removal of optional questions in Section B. The paper will comprise 180 questions covering Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (Botany & Zoology), to be answered within 180 minutes. The marking scheme remains unchanged:

The NTA has urged candidates to thoroughly verify all particulars on their admit card upon download. Any discrepancies must be promptly reported to the agency for rectification. Entry to the examination hall will be strictly permitted only upon presentation of the printed admit card, a valid photo identification document, and strict compliance with the listed instructions.

With NEET UG 2025 being the gateway to thousands of MBBS and BDS seats across India, candidates are advised to stay vigilant, remain informed, and prepare themselves for the examination day in accordance with the prescribed guidelines.

For the latest updates, candidates are encouraged to regularly visit the official NTA website and refer only to authorised sources of information.
