Gokul Mitha… the dream sweetmeat on a rain-drenched evening. It is said to be the favourite of the Baby Krishna, and Bengali lore has it that women of Vrindavan, or Gokul, would make it for the universally loved child. Made of fresh coconut grating, khowa or dried milk cake, and sugar, it takes much skill and patience.
