Ramkripal Namdeo, a noted painter and Limca Book of Records holder, is set to showcase his latest solo painting exhibition, “Chitralatika,” at the Jamini Roy Art Gallery in Kolkata from February 22nd to February 26th, 2023. The exhibition is expected to be an incredible tribute to the late Lata Mangeshkar, one of the most influential singers in the Indian music industry.

Ramkripal Namdeo’s love for art began at a very young age, thanks to his grandmother’s artistic talents. As a child, he used to watch his grandmother paint the courtyard of her house with cow dung and white clay. He was fascinated by the way she created clay art on the walls of the house’s door frame. Over time, his passion for art grew, and he started making shapes out of bread. He continued to hone his artistic skills, and eventually, he became one of the most renowned painters in India.

This painting has been included in both the Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records in 2019.
