This tale left an indelible mark on my impressionable mind, causing me to develop an ardent admiration for the enigmatic protagonist, Shibaji. As the hands of time gently propelled me towards adulthood, I understood more about him, unearthing the remarkable exploits and guerilla warfare techniques employed by this extraordinary leader. Thus, as we delve into the history of 6th June, let us traverse back to the year 1674 when Shibaji ascended the regal throne as the sovereign of the illustrious Maratha kingdom.
